Summary of position:
Seeking a dedicated and skilled Network Engineer to join our Technology Operations Center (TOC). This role is critical in providing 24/7 monitoring and support for our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across all systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and be able to deliver exceptional Level 1 to Level 1.5 support for network, compute, and application operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and infrastructure operations through continuous eyes-on-glass monitoring.
Tools include Big Panda, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, Splunk, ServiceNow (SNOW) Platform.
- Provide Level 1 to Level 1.5 technical support for remote and data center networks, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Support Infrastructure Operations for both Windows and Linux environments.
- Assist in application and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) support, collaborating with development teams to resolve incidents and enhance performance.
- Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system, ensuring clear communication and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in monitoring and support processes.
